Northern Michigan Fly Fishing
In Michigan, we're lucky to enjoy open water fishing nearly 365 days a year. Below are the species we love to target.

Steelhead
The Steelhead season spans from October 1 to April 30. These fish are renowned as the toughest fighters in the Great Lakes pound for pound. Join Marco on his boat for an unforgettable day of fly fishing for these amazing creatures. Marco specializes in swinging flies, he also enjoys the intricacies of float fishing and bottom bouncing.

Trout
Michigan was the first place in North America to introduce brown trout. There's nothing quite like casting dries or stripping streamers while eagerly anticipating the fish below to strike your presentation. We target them from May 1 to December 1.

Bass
Bass are native to Michigan, and we focus on catching them in rivers and lakes south of Traverse City. Streamers, topwater flies, and terrestrials work well depending on the season. Witnessing a large bass darting from a log jam for your fly is an exhilarating fly fishing experience. While some rivers may be too warm for trout, the bass thrive from June 1 to September 1.
